“The Bedouin are traditionally nomadic, pastoral Arabs, raising camels, sheep and goats, although many have
settled in rural villages. Among them there are almost no known believers.
Over several years, God has been opening doors for me to build friendships with Bedouin women. We often have
gospel conversations when I am able to visit them, using a borrowed or rented car.
Not having a car of my own restricts how often I am able to visit, and limits access to some homes due to
the terrain. I have been bogged several times!
Although buying a car here is expensive (especially as a foreigner), it turns out that a co-worker leaving
our location is selling her 4WD. After much prayer and consultation with CMS staff, we have decided that
purchasing this vehicle would be helpful for my ministry, reliable on sandy and isolated roads, and
economical in the long run.
Would you prayerfully consider contributing towards the cost of this car to help facilitate my ministry?”
